"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me." Galatians 2:20
When God Reveals Your Every Secret

Your sins will find you out. Make no mistake about it. Everything that you think no one knows about, that you’re doing in secret, one day, those things could be made known.

Proverbs 28:13 says

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”

Never Make Excuses for Your Sins

Do you want mercy and grace from God today? Or do you want condemnation and judgment? The answer is so clear. Of course, everyone wants mercy and grace! But do you know that mercy and grace do not come automatically?

Sometimes we think that “Oh, we’re just going to do it because I feel too attracted to doing that thing or I just have to do it to survive and to provide for my family.”

But all those are just excuses leading on the broad path that leads to destruction. And let me tell you one thing that no one knows about me except that I told this to my wife before.

When I was in the university, I had a class. It was a religion class and the night before the exam, I was actually studying and I thought there was no way I can fully study this and do well in the exam. I’ll fail it.

And so I thought to myself, you know what, I can’t fail it. So I know what I’m going to do. I actually put all those notes that I’ve written on a Word document file and I made it into a font of 3.5 font, 4 pt font, 5 pt font.

I played around with all these font sizes. I spent over an hour trying to create this cheat sheet so that I can bring it to the exam and cheat with it. Instead of thinking about trying to study, I would practice where should I put this piece of paper. Maybe I put it up the sleeve, maybe I’ll hide it over here. And I picture mentally where I’m going to sit in that classroom. I’m going to sit over there, I’m going to position my body like this.

Everything that I’m thinking of is how to sin, how to deceive the teacher, and how to cheat because I thought there’s no way out. The only way is to cheat and some of you might be thinking this exact same thing right now. That there’s no way I can break up this ungodly relationship before marriage.

I spent too much time and effort, I have to continue in the sin. Some of you are saying that there’s no way I can confess this adultery to my spouse because everything will fall apart. Some of you are saying that there’s no way I can tell the government that I’ve cheated them so much of these taxes throughout the years because I don’t want to face the consequences of jail and whatever repercussion that is.

And some of you are saying there’s no way I can tell anyone that I’m stuck in the sin of pornography, that I want to get out of it. But I keep on doing it over and over and over again. When the spouse goes to bed, you go do it after you come back from church at night when no one’s looking, you’re looking at things that you don’t want to look at. But you enjoy it when you look at it and you keep on doing it over and over again.

And so you explain to yourself, “No, I’m not committing adultery in my marriage because I don’t cheat literally on myself.” But in fact, you cheat in your mind. Jesus says, “Whoever has committed adultery in the mind is to look at a person with lust.” Just the look is enough. How can pornography not be adultery? And no adulterers will enter the kingdom of heaven over and over again in the New Testament. This is what it said.

Repent and Do Not Lie to Yourself

And so there are two options: beginning to lie to ourselves, number one. And say, “You know what? I’m okay. God’s going to cover me. He has grace for me.” And you know what? That is actually the partial truth. God has grace for everyone. He wants us to receive His grace and mercy.

It is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom. He doesn’t want us to perish. But there’s one thing that He requires of us and that is to repent of our sins. And I say, “God, I don’t want to live that life anymore. I will do whatever it takes. I will confess my sin. I’ll find brothers who will keep me accountable. I’ll even go and make things right.”

They were wrong. Just like Ezekias, if I wrong someone, I will do what is right in Your eyes God, whatever that means. Because I fear You, God, in Your judgment, that is coming. More so than what I fear the repercussions here on earth.

What is it going to be for you and what is it going to be for me? Because you know what? When I was in that religion class, doing that exam in that classroom, I was so consumed with looking at that cheat code. I was saying, “Well that the prof is not there. The professor is all the way over there.”

I just kept on writing, writing, cheating, cheating, and cheating. And you know what? All of a sudden I heard a voice, someone right above me talking. I was like, “Oh no, I’m caught! And now I’m going to get expelled.” I’m going to get some kind of disciplinary action because surely this professor caught me cheating, standing right above me.

And so I looked up and I start seeing that she was actually talking to another student right next to me. I thought it was safe. I thought no one would know and I was shaking on the inside. I tried to hide it so that she can’t see it.

Isn’t that what some of us are doing today? Thinking that no one’s going to know. But if you know that in Hebrews 4:13, it says “There’s no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him, to whom we must give account.”

And not only Hebrews. 2 Corinthians 5:10 says,

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

You Can Still Receive the Grace of God

And listen, here is the good news. Today is the day when we can receive the grace of God. Of course, God has grace for us. And of course, we do not have a High Priest who cannot understand us because He was also at one point tempted in every way. That’s Jesus. But He overcame, He understands the struggle. And the promise of God is that He will not allow us to be tempted more than we can handle. And that He will always give us a way out to flee from the temptation if we choose to.

He’s not going to force you. He’s not going to say, “You know what I’m going to override your will so that you don’t do what you shouldn’t do.” He’s going to say, “I’m going to see who truly loves Me, who truly abides in My word in his life, and who truly keeps My commandment. Because those who do those things are those who truly love me and they will enter into My eternal kingdom when I come back. That’s what Jesus says.

And so my hope is that you don’t read this blog post in condemnation, because surely I know I’m the person that is in that wretched, wretched state, going on the broad path onto hell when I was going to church. And that God has woken me up in my sleep and saying, “Man, you can’t live like that because if you live like that, you will end up on that broad path that leads to hell because My word promises that to be so that no one who is an adulterer, greedy, covetous, doing things that are ungodly and unrighteous.

If you want to know what those things are read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, read Revelation 22:15, read Galatians 5:19 and 21. And there are so many scriptures that say, those who are true believers of Jesus Christ If we do these things, we will not inherit the kingdom of God. And yet we don’t hear these warnings in the churches today.

I’ve Received Grace and Mercy, and I Want You To Receive Them Too

And I’m telling you today, there’s grace, there is mercy because I’m the one who received this mercy and grace from God. And today I want to see guys just come and receive this grace and mercy.

It’s so sad in my heart when I look at people in the church, sometimes they say, “Oh great, how are you doing there? I’m like, oh great!” And when they walk away, I see the sad countenance on their face. And I can only imagine what is it that they’re dealing with in their lives because I know that very feeling of how one is trapped in their sin and they find no deliverance, no one to help them, no one to talk about it.

And every single Sunday all we hear is how God is grace, how God is good, how Jesus died on the cross. And we never hear about the holiness of God. And we don’t hear about how Jesus is going to come back one day. And we don’t hear that we’re serving a living God, that He expects something of us. That in response we should live a life that is holy and pleasing to Him.

And so Father, I pray in the name of Jesus right now for the person who is watching. I pray Holy Spirit, You touch his or her heart and touch my heart. I pray that every single day if there’s anything that is unpleasing to You in your sight. Reveal it to us so that we can repent and turn to You.

We don’t care about what people think of us. We don’t care about their opinions. Not that because we disrespect them, but because we care about Your opinion more. Whatever you say, change me from within so that I can prepare from the inside out and walk in the path that leads to eternal life.

And God, I pray for grace. I pray for mercy on people who are still watching this video. You know that there are certain things that God is calling you to repent from. Whether it’s relationships with certain things you didn’t make right, do it right now! Confess it to God, make it right with people.

Today is the day to reconcile with God and reconcile with others because of coming of Jesus is the time when no one expects. If we’re not watching and we certainly want to keep watch because our Lord Jesus is coming soon. And if you want to know the things that are going to happen in the end times, you absolutely need to watch this video right here where I talk about a shocking Jesus we see in the Book of Revelation, and why you need to read the Book of Revelation.

Share this with people who need to hear it. Until next time in the grace and the power of the living Christ. And you have to overcome to live a life that’s pleasing to God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
