"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me." Galatians 2:20
10 Signs To Second Coming of Christ: End Times Prophecies Fulfilled!

10 signs that must happen before Jesus returns and you don’t want to miss the last two signs because many people get it wrong.

To understand these 10 signs, we have to start at Matthew 24.

“Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, Do you not see all these things? Assuredly I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” (Matthew 24:1-2)

Imagine this, picture this, Jesus has walked out from one of the most magnificent temples ever built on the entire earth. And yet Jesus says, I’m going to tell you one very sure thing. Not one stone is going to be left upon one another because it’s going to be destroyed. What do you think the disciples are going to think?

So after this statement in verse three, it says that Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, and the disciples came to Him privately asking Jesus this. The first question they ask is, Jesus, tell us when will these things be? When is going to be the destruction of the temple? Because that’s what Jesus just said. Number two, disciples asked what will be the sign of Your coming? And number three, what will be the sign of the end of the age? (Matthew 24:3)

Three questions the disciples asked Jesus. And because of these questions, Jesus now tells them the 10 signs that we’re going to look at this video before his return.

Sign #1: Many Will Claim to be Messiah

Take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ and will deceive many. (Matthew 24:4)

If you go on Wikipedia and search for Christian Messiah claimants, you’re going to find a long list of people who claim to be messiah. We have Sun Myung Moon from 1920 to 2012, the founder and leader of the Unification Church in Seoul, South Korea and he established himself as the second coming of Christ.

You have Ann Lee from 1736 to 1784, a central figure to the Shakers who thought she embodied all the perfections of God in female form and considered herself to be a Christ female counterpart in 1772. And the list goes on you can read it.

Jesus told his disciples to take heed. Hey, be careful, listen to this. Do not let anyone deceive you because they’re going to come and say “I am the Christ.” and will deceive many many people. These people have followers. But don’t follow after them because they’re false Christ.

That’s the first sign, number one.

Sign #2: You Will Hear of Wars and Rumors of Wars

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you’re not troubled; because all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6)

A lot of people today look in the world and say “Well, there are lots of wars, lots of rumors of wars. The end is here, the end is here.” Jesus says the end is not here. We’ve seen in the past decades that there are so many tragic wars, in World War One, World War Two and many different people are talking about the impending World War Three that will destroy the whole world because of the nuclear weapon capabilities.

But Jesus says when you hear these rumors of wars when you hear wars being fought, know that the end is not here because there are still things that must be fulfilled.

Sign #3: Men Fighting Against One Another

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. (Matthew 24:7)

You’re going to see men fighting against one another. Not just people having wars but nations coming against nations and kingdom against kingdom trying to overpower one another. Maybe through wars, maybe not through wars, but they have this power struggle as you see in the world today.

Who’s the superpower?

Who wants to rise to the top?

And God says, Jesus says, this is going to happen in the end times, that’s the third sign.

Sign #4: There Will Be Famines

Jesus says that there will be famines. (Matthew 24:7)

If you look around the world today, there are so many, millions and millions and millions of people today who are malnourished, who are not having food and they’re dying because of hunger. And for those of us who are in the west, what are we doing with our money and with our time? Are we helping those who are in need?

Oh, God, help us so that we’re not only living in our own luxuries so that we can also help those who are in need because, in Matthew 25:32, Jesus says when He comes back, He’s going to separate the sheep and the goats. And the only criteria in that parable whether those who are going to enter heaven is not whether they claim faith in Jesus Christ.

The only criteria that Jesus says when He comes back are if you have provided for the poor, if you have clothed and naked, if you gave a drink to the thirsty, if you visit those who are in prison, that is the only criteria Jesus says are those who can enter heaven. Because those are the ones who truly believe in Jesus who loved the poor, who gave to the poor because they know that when they do that, they’re actually giving to the Lord Jesus Christ.

But remember that Jesus says you will always have the poor among you here on earth because the end is coming but it’s not yet. And before Jesus is going to come back, May we remember, let us go and do and provide for the least of these because when He comes back, we want to be ready.

That’s sign number four. There will be famines.

Sign #5: Pestilences

We witnessed this in the past couple of years with the pandemic and coronavirus. We know that it is here. And not only is that the coronavirus but there are also many different types of diseases and sicknesses that the medical science community cannot solve.

But guess what? Jesus predicted all of this. He’s saying that there will be pestilence. What can you and I do as Christians? Our biblical response is to abide in a secret place in Psalm 91. Because when you do that, just like the Ark of the Covenant with the two cherubim right there, when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty then no plague shall come near your dwelling, (Psalm 91:1)

And pestilences can’t come near your household because you’re in a secret place. So don’t fear covid, don’t fear viruses. Know that God is coming. This is only one of the end-time signs that Jesus says is going to happen before He returns.

Sign #6: Earthquakes in Various Places

Jesus says earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8)

What is He talking about? Famines, pestilences, and earthquakes! The bible talks about how the earth is trembling and crying out for the revealing of the sons of God.

This is what’s happening today. The earth is trembling for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is saying when you see these things, hey listen, know that this is the beginning of sorrows. He’s not saying that He’s here right now. He’s saying I’m coming, be ready. Because when you see these things, know that I will be coming and you got to be ready.

If you’re not ready, you’ll be taken by surprise on that day and you don’t want to be in that situation.

Sign #7: They Will Deliver You Up To Tribulation and Kill You

Jesus says that they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you. (Matthew 24:9)

In the west, we’re not really experiencing that right now as of yet. But unfortunately, in other countries around the world, they’re very hostile against Christianity.

And recently, I’ve been reading that book again, Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand, a very great ministry called the Voice of the Martyrs. When you read that book and he was being tortured during the time of the Second World War in 1945 and onwards. He was 14 years persecuted, jailed, beaten, and all these horrible stories that in the mind is so hard to fathom. And then he went through it.

How they would starve the Christians from days on end, release mice, rats, these huge rats that are starving into the prison cell. So these Christians couldn’t even sleep because if they sleep they’re going to get eaten by these rats so they have to stay up for two weeks straight.

And they put these Christians on these crosses on the floor. Meanwhile, having people defecating all these human excrements put on them and then pull them back and say, “Oh look this is your Christ.” and mocked them in such a fashion.

There are so many horrible things that we can’t even imagine and that are happening around the world today. And those of us who are in North America and the west, we have this la-la-land of Christianity that we’re not even aware that people are being killed every single day.  And the bible says to remember them in chains, our brothers as if you were actually chained with them.

May it be in the heart today, that we not only live our lives here on earth, but then we’re like God. I pray for those who are actually suffering in the faith today. I pray that You would encourage them, strengthen them in Your name and use our money, use our time, use whatever efforts that we can have to help them in ways that we can alleviate at least some of the pain with their family or what they’re going through.

And there’s one more warning for those of us who are in the west. Remember Jesus says they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you.

Are you going to be able to stand up for your faith?

No matter what I can tell you if your faith currently is just resting on that one hour, two hours on a Sunday, most likely I can tell, you’re not going to be able to stand persecution when the time comes.

So maybe right now that we examine our faith, walk with Jesus daily, because by the power of the Holy Spirit that we can overcome in Jesus’ name.

Sign #8: You Will Be Hated For My Name’s Sake

Jesus says you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake and then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. (Matthew 24:9-10)

To a certain extent, we’re already seeing this today. People don’t want to hear about biblical Christianity. They want to hear about the watered-down Christianity that says it accepts everybody — if you’re gay, homosexual, if you’re an alcoholic, you watch porn if you do all these things. You can cheat, you can lie and you just do these things. If you just ask God for forgiveness and keep doing these things, you’re fine, you’re okay. That kind of Christianity, they will embrace it.

Progressive Christianity thinks that it’s just the ears of the people. That you don’t have to repent, you don’t have to live holy, you don’t have to live a new way of life, that’s the Christianity that they want to hear.

But Jesus says if you preach My gospel if you do what I do and you heal the sick, you cast out demons, and tell people to live a new way of life, just like the early disciples and the early church. (Matthew 10:7-8)

Then surely people will not like you and people will be offended and people will hate you for My name’s sake. (Matthew 24:9-10)

But guess what? Here’s the reward that Jesus says: Blessed are you when others revile you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely for His name’s sake. Blessed are you because great is your reward in heaven. (Matthew 5:11-12)

So remember today, if you’re standing up for righteousness if you’re living a life that’s clean and pure and trying to please God. Don’t worry about what other people think of you. Because Jesus says this is one of the signs that’s going to happen at the end.

People will hate one another, they’re going to get offended. But you don’t get offended. Love, give grace, have peace because these are true characteristics of those who follow Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

And here comes the last two signs that you have to be aware of.

Sign #9: Lawlessness Will Abound

Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. (Matthew 24:11)

We talked about it at the beginning already. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)

But he who endures until the end shall be saved. (Matthew 24:13)

The ninth sign is that lawlessness will abound. How do we know that there’s lawlessness today? It’s very simple. When you look into the fair teachings of scripture, and you look at what the church’s teaching today, and you look at how the world is living today, and especially even people who claim to follow God and how they’re living today, then you’ll know that lawlessness is abounding. Because people are no longer trying to live the way that God wants us to live.

And Jesus says this is happening because people’s hearts have grown cold. Just like in the Book of Revelation 3:16, it says that people’s hearts are lukewarm. Their faith is lukewarm. I’d rather you be hot or cold, but you’re lukewarm.

Where are we in the status today in our faith?

Are we cold?

Are we lukewarm?

Are we hot?

Because she says only those who are hot, only those who have oil in their lamps are going to enter into His Eternal Kingdom. Those who endure until the end. This faith is to be endured, to be kept until the very end.

That’s what the apostle Paul says at the end of his life. I have fought the good fight and I have kept my faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

This is the faith that we have to keep. We have to endure steadfastly until the end. But other people are not following Jesus. We follow Jesus even if we have to die, even if we’re persecuted, even though there are things falsely about us that are not true. We forgive, we move on, and we’re blessed. We keep following Jesus.

Why do we do this? We’ll find out in the next sign.

Sign #10: The Gospel of the Kingdom Will Be Preached in All The World

Jesus says His Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations. And here’s the thing. Then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14)

Hallelujah!

The end will come when the gospel is preached in all the nations and especially with the technology of the internet today, that everything can be broadcast through the airwaves and through the internet.

Is it too hard to imagine that in one day this broadcast is sent up through the whole earth? That the whole earth hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And so you hear a trumpet and Jesus is going to come back and the angels sound and all the things are happening in the Book of Revelation are going to unfold one after another very, very quickly! And we see the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at hand.

Isn’t that amazing?

So if you look forward to the coming of Jesus, you and I have a task to do. There are still many people today who haven’t heard of the name of Jesus. You and I may go and preach the gospel. He would just say cast out demons and do all the miraculous works that Jesus has done. (Matthew 10:7-8)

Because if we do that as believers, go and preach the gospel, we actually hasten the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ and that’s a good thing.

So I encourage you, don’t waste time on forums and Facebook posts and all this arguing about all the stuff that doesn’t even matter. Preach the gospel, do the work that God has given you to do, set the captives free, minister life, give grace, and uplift the name of Jesus.

Because as we do that, we know we’re walking on that path, we’re keeping our faith. And when Jesus comes, we will not be ashamed because we look forward to His coming.

Isn’t that amazing?

And right now if you feel like you’re not ready to see Jesus here. Today is the day of salvation. Repent, turn back to God and say “God, I’m here. Forgive me. I changed, I repent. Today I want to live a new life with You.”

If you need prayer if you need healing in your bodies feel free to contact me.

If you need deliverance, if you feel like you’re being attacked by demons, do not hesitate to contact me.

I’ll have to pray for you and give you deliverance in Jesus’ name. Because this is the portion of the believers, that they can lay hands on the second to recover and will cast out demons so that people can be set free.

Go ahead and share this with people who need to hear it because Jesus is coming soon!

Until next time.

God bless you!
